I have always considered music composition to be storytelling. The CAMINOS TORUTUOSOS album generally tells a story about how difficult it is to find your way in life and do what you love. On this road, it is easy to get lost, but there is always a little hope.
The pieces “La mar de sangre/Море крові/The Sea of Blood” and “La mar de lágrimas/ Море сліз/The Sea of Tears”, which form a diptych, were created on impulse after February 24, 2022, being entirely unplanned. However, as a compassionate person, I wanted to react to the tragedy happening so close to us. “La mar de sangre” means “The sea of blood”. The blood symbolizes pain, suffering and death. “La mar de lagrimas” means “The sea of tears”. Tears represent empathy. Tears wash away the blood. It makes sense only when they go together.
